Stephen Fry has long been one of my favourite comedians so I was delighted to read about his propensity for all things FOSSy in his Dork Talk column / blog. Apparently his latest favourite gadget is the Asus eeepc, a device leading the vanguard delivering F/OSS software to the masses via hardware.
His posts are an interesting read, especially for those looking for ways in which to communicate the advantages of F/OSS to those not so technically inclined.

few mistakes in the story.
* takes 22 seconds to boot not 12
* skype on board once updated using the fluffy gui updater can handle video calls.
other than that he’s bang on. every body who’s seen my one has talked about getting one. of course there is a huge shortage so that isn’t a guarantee that they will get one.
