Trawling through the Open Source Academy’s mass of information I came across this gem of goodness. It’s essentially documentation and an implementation guide drawn up by Bristol City Council in the U.K. for rolling out Open Office in their organisation.
This is vital reading for anyone implementing Open Office as it contains documentation on building a business case for implementation right through to dealing with the cultural issues of the roll-out. In addition the site also has a freely downloadable deployment and migration resource pack as well as XML code snippets to use the new features in Open Office.
And who said open source projects didn’t know how to document
Bristol City Council’s Guide to Implementing Open Office.
